There are several reasons why I decided to put up this website. This is not to replace official dog clubs and associations, but to add a different level of collaboration between fieldie people. These are some of the advantages a community of this kind of community has:

- It is owned by an individual, and as such free of stiff regulations of how things are decided and handled. This speeds things up.
- It gives more stability into the structure of the community, as the leadership isn't changed every year. If you like how things are going now, you're likely to like them in the future - and the other way around.
- It can function world wide without legal issues.
- Membership fee isn't required to participate in the community.
- It gives me some peace of mind, as I know I can trust the leadership to listen to it's members wishes, as I am the leader. :D
